Miller Design LLC offers over two decades of combined experience designing childcare centers, playgrounds, and public, private and charter schools. We strive to create high quality children’s spaces addressing scale, comfort, and safety. We have collaborated with a wide range of public and private clients, architectural firms, operations teams, and licensing entities. We offer extensive experience regarding child care and educational codes and regulations, design and detailing, and the integration of educational program goals.

Our history working for several years as in house architects for Bright Horizons contributes to a unique understanding of the owner’s perspective. In addition to her credentials and experience as an Architect, Diane Miller also has a Masters degree in Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education where she focused her studies on the ecology of learning. Diane has conducted numerous research projects and presented several papers on the symbiotic relationship between learning environments and the learning experience. Our design experience and educational expertise has guided through the completion of over 100 projects across the United States, Canada and Europe.
